Junior Greyhound Room

Three year old room - 33 months through 48 months

Our Focus

Our Junior Greyhound room focuses on helping children continue to gain independence while introducing more academic components. The junior pups continue with skills learned in the toddler room, but also incorporate more group time and social skills throughout their day.

They follow a consistent daily schedule. It includes activities such as; free play, large group, small group, art, sensory, outdoor play and gym time. The curriculum is themed based and they focus on letter and number recognition, shapes, color, patterns, sorting and writing their names. The teacher works with each child to encourage their interests and foster their development.

In the Junior Greyhound classroom, your child will enjoy....

  • Theme based curriculum - that includes science experiments and art
  • Stimulating learning environment
  • Engaging group time with letter/number recognition
  • Introduction to basic Spanish
  • Outdoor/gym play
  • 1:10 staff to child ratio
