The giraffe bus and the elephant bus were involved in minor accidents this morning. The giraffe bus slid off the road into a ditch and the elephant bus slid into small trees. Both buses were traveling at slow speeds and there were no injuries. Some of the students were a little shaken up and building administrators are prepared to offer support to students who are still upset when they arrive at school.
The transportation department sent other buses out to pick up students from the disabled buses to get them to school.
