Accidental Active Shooter call to 911

We wanted to inform you of a situation that occurred this morning during our District Wide Lockdown Drill. A staff member accidentally activated an Active Shooter alert that went out to Staff and to 911 Dispatch. It was announced over the PA System that all buildings were to go into lockdown. We followed our normal lockdown procedures just as we have practiced during our drills. Minutes later it was announced over the PA system that is was accidental call.

We are proud of how quickly and professionally our staff reacted to the situation. Thankfully it was just an accidental call.
