Welcome to Northwestern's media center

Northwestern's library is well-stocked wiith nearly 8,000 books in all areas of interest--there's sure to be something your student will be happy to choose! 

 Northwestern has utilitzed the Accelerated Reader program for many years, and students can also choose from 4,000 plus books for which we have Accelerated Reader quizzes available.  After they have read their latest selection, they can choose to take quizzes, either on one of the computers in the media center, or in the computer lab, which is right next door.  Several times a year, Accelerated Readers meeting point goals are treated to Reading Party Fun Nights in the media center.  For more information regarding the Accelerated Reader Program, please contact Mrs. Meg Smith, 2nd grade teacher and AR Coordinator for Northwestern: msmith@erpsk12.org

Northwestern's Media Center is a family-friendly place!  Our PTO welcomes parents and siblings several times a year, for a Reading Party, featuring a chance for students to read with parents and enjoy donuts and juice too!

Thank you also for your support of our Book Fairs, which allow for the purchase of new books for our students!
