The Middle School Media Center

We have a beautiful school library, which is centrally located on the second floor and is equipped with 12 computers. We also have 2 full computer labs on the first floor, a teaching lab on the first floor, and two carts of mini netbooks that can be used in classrooms. All computers have internet access through the school network.

Our library cataloging system, Destiny, is on-line based. All the libraries in the district are connected through this one system. Students can access the catalog through any school computer and also can access it outside of school on any computer with internet access, such as a home or public library computer.

Our library has over 7000 titles for students and staff to use for reading and reference. Students may check out 2 books at a time, for two weeks. Books may be renewed if the student has not finished in that time. If a student forgets to bring back their books, overdue fines will be assessed at $.05 per day. Students are encouraged to be responsible for their books and to bring them back on time!
