Welcome to Lockwood Elementary

My name is Julie Powers and this is my fourth year at Lockwood as the preK-2 building.  I enjoy working with the youngest of students and forming that first school relationship with parents. Our school was awarded the MiBLSi grant and our community has been working together to provide a safe and inviting place for young learners. All of the staff at Lockwood have email access and phones in their room. We welcome the opportunity to speak with you about your children.  I ask that you always speak with the teacher first regarding any issue about your child. We have around 439 children here and the classroom teacher knows your child better than I do. Please recognize that we are all busy throughout the day working with students and sometimes it may take us 24 hours to respond, but we will respond!
