Clubs and Activities
Here are some of the fun groups you can join at ERHS:
The high school produces a musical in the Spring. It is directed by Holly Ferguson (Drama teacher) and Anthony Funaro (Choir Teacher). All students are welcome to audition. Students are also needed to work behind the scenes on the crew. Rehearsals run from January through March.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be the main character in a novel or movie? Then you might like RPG club. We play a variety of different table top role playing games--past games include Star Wars, Fate, Dungeons & Dragons, and White Wolf. All you need is a pencil and your imagination. All gamers are welcome, from the novice to the experienced. We also have many Magic players, so bring your deck.
RPG Club meets every Tuesday in room 128, Ms. Coppins's room, from 2:45 until 5:30. Late bus passes are available.
Interact is a club for high school aged students that focuses on community services. Our motto is, "Serving the world, one community at a time." We do various projects throughout the year such as a major food drive in November, Cody's Wish (helping impoverished families buy presents) at Christmas time, March is Reading Month at Greyhound Early Learning Center in March, and Relay for Life in May. We also do smaller projects like year round recycling at the high school and pinking out the school in October. We meet every first Saturday of the month from 10 am to noon at the high school.
