Jeff Allison was elected to serve on the Board of Education in June 2003. Jeff is married to Sandra and has one student enrolled in Eaton Rapids, and one who graduated in 2004. He is the HIPAA Technical Project Manager for the Michigan Public Health Institute in Okemos, and feels his strong suits are finance and systems.
Debbie Brinson was elected to the Board of Education in June of 2004. Mrs. Brinson is Executive Director of the School Community Health Alliance of Michigan, a statwide advocacy organization that works on behalf of health and prevention programs for school-aged children and their families. Her experience includes having worked with the state's K-12 budget as it relates to at-risk funding, and assisting in policy development specific to school finances. Debbie and her husband Don have three children who attend Eaton Rapids Public Schools.
Jon Althouse was elected to the Board of Education in June 2003. He is married to Lori and has two children enrolled in Eaton Rapids Public Schools. He is employed by the Department of Agriculture and Engineering, Michigan State University, as the Coordinator of the Electrical Technology Program.
As a parent, coach, and member of the MSU faculty, Jon feels he is a positive contributor to the Board of Education.
Brian Ross is a graduate of Eaton Rapids High School and an Owner/Broker of Ross & Associates Realtors. Mr. Ross is involved in the County Planning Commission, ER Local Development Finance Authority, ER Business and School Alliance, and the ER Area Chamber of Commerce.
He is married to Peggy, who works at Greyhound Intermediate School. Two children attend Eaton Rapids Public Schools. Two stepchildren graduated from Eaton Rapids Public Schools. He has one grandchild.
Gary Wichman has served on the Board of Education since February, 1998. Mr. Wichman is a member of the Advisory Board of the Eaton County Community Foundation and is Vice President and CCM in the Treasury Management Department of National City Bank. Gary and his wife Cheryl are the parents of one Eaton Rapids student and two graduates.
Carolyn Wyckoff was born and raised in Eaton Rapids. After she graduated from ERHS, she worked for the school system for 25 plus years in a classroom for the emotionally impaired as well as in the student services office. Mrs. Wyckoff ran for the board because she still felt that she had something to give to the students here as well as a perspective from someone that was once an employee of the school system.

Theresa Platte was appointed to the Board of Education in January 2010. She and her husband Steven have three children. The oldest graduated from Eaton Rapids High School in 2008 and the other two currently attend Eaton Rapids Public Schools. Mrs. Platte has served on the Board of the Eaton Rapids Public Schools Education Foundation for several years.
